I have medium lenght hair and live in a dry climate. I just want to know a good product thats not from the salon and one that won't dry my hair out more.

Well i don't know why you don't want a product from a salon because those are the best, I use the conditioning spray from the brand "Enjoy". It works really well, its leave in conditioner and it gives hair moisture, it detangles and it gives it protection against weather. Get it! even though its at salons.
