Ok, usually I just put my hair up in a pony tail or pull it through half way. Can anyone try to explain to me how to put my hair up in a messy/cute way with it still being tight to my head?

try a messy bun. you can always get away with a messy look with a bun. just comb your hair back so it's neat on top %26amp; stuff then once you get to doing the bun, do it quickly %26amp; let the hairs come out naturally.

it depends on your hair texture. don't brush it before putting it up, and just comb your fingers through it so it doesn't look like a horrible mess. if your hair is thinner, get some texturizer or even hair spray and make loose, messy sections and then put it up.

If you have a hair straightener, you could straighten your hair (from here you could either part your hair like you want, or leave it with a naturally messy part). Then just put it into a ponytail. This look doesn't work for everyone though, so just try what you think looks best!
