I am a little nervous about a hair style can I get some help here?

I don't have a relaxer, I flat iron my hair once a week. However I would like to stop putting the heat on my hair so I am looking at some natural hair styles, specifically a braid out. What do you all think about these..will I shock the people at school to much?

I think they're both freakin' beautiful and I'm jealous that I don't have the hair for it. And if it shocks anyone at your school it will only be in a good way. Go for it!

I mean this in the least racist way, but if you are african-american... i think it will look great! It wouldn't look good on a white person but often people of colour can pull that off... i think it is a stunning hairstyle (think raven symone, shes got gorgeous hair like that)
