I have a formal dance coming up and am wearing a pretty blue halter dress. I have light brown hair with blond highlights. My hair is poofy and curly. How should I wear it so it looks fansy and not everydayish?

u can have the front like the part where the bangs are pinned back and the rest of your hair curly.
u can also put your finger in the top of your head then half wayand grab that portion then puff it a little and tie, or hold it their and hairspray for the puff.
Keep it soft and natural. Definitely wear it down, healthy looking is always the best style. Maybe start deep-conditioning it right now and see what happens. Do not do anything weird the night before or the morning of!
twist it up into little buns and sleep on it to make it curly, then the next day you pull it up in a really high pony and bobby pin some of the curls all over your head. then if you want you can add a ribbon or some flowers.

It depends if it's a serious formal grad or a casual, semi formal.
Most of the girls at my grad, curled their hair and they looked really pretty.
If you're thinking an updo, use a pretty clip to hold it up.
My hair is long and reddish brown. I have long side sweep bangs that are almost down to my chin. The look fine and i was thinking of just blending them in to my layers.
Should i just re cut my bangs or should I blend them?
Also should I dye my hair darker Brown?
Let them blend with your other hair and yeah during winter it's also nice to go darker. Keep some reddish in it though red is nice looking.
With the reddish brown i sugest getting some carmel highlights! It would look fantastic, also the side swept longer bangs are in right now so stick with it! Good Luck
leave your hair the same colour it sounds amazing! have your fringe cut bluntly to frame your face or if your now brave enough have it graduated so it starts shorter and as it gets longer it blends into the rest of your hair

i had mine cut short, a step into the unknown, i also have really curly hair, i got it done a coupla inches long on top with a slightly longer fringe and buzzed short at the back, then just add some water, let it curl a bit, maybe add hairspray or something, wallah, my friends said i looked like halle berry, when she had short hair.
I did the exact same thing, but not as short as you're thinking. The think about curly hair is our curls have to be weighed down to bounce, so in other words it will just stick out because it is not long enough for your curls to hang. My suggestion would be that you do something a little longer like Chelsea Clinton's hair, it is short but still long enough to curl, Good Luck Curly!!!
if ur hair is straight then u can cut ur hair in layers- it won't get to puffed up

As long as it's layered and has some volume, a wispy cut could work.

I like a hard angled bob where the hair is really short in the back and long to your collar bone in the front. Why don't you just gel it and make your hair funky until it reaches that point. I know when I get frustrated with my hair - nothing looks right but if you go to the salon now, they will just make it very short again.
i suggest that u get ur hair layerd and some side bangs. o use this stuff called bedhead. its relly awesome it gives u a edgy/punk look i use it and my hair is a little passed my shoulders.
